We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused IT Apprentice to join our growing team in Brentwood. You'll get hands-on experience across business-to-business IT support, from Microsoft 365 to networking and hosted VoIP, while working towards industry certifications. The role is varied and fast-moving, with a mix of service desk work, on-site visits, and coordination with suppliers and customers.

Key responsibilities
* Provide first-line and (with support) second-line B2B IT support via phone, email and remote tools.
* Support Microsoft technologies (Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure), plus Bitdefender, Avanan and Redstor for security and backup.
* Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, WAN/LAN connections, Wi-Fi and VLANs.
* Assist with hosted VoIP systems (user setups, handset provisioning, call flows).
* Help with copper and fibre network installations: patching, testing and documentation.
* Liaise between customers and suppliers to progress and resolve issues; raise/track tickets.
* Book engineer appointments and coordinate site access/parts.
* Attend customer sites as required for installs, surveys and incident resolution.
* Maintain accurate asset inventories, network diagrams and knowledge base articles.
* Follow SLAs, escalate appropriately, and contribute to continual service improvement.
About you - Essential
* Achieved (or on track for) Level 3 qualification (e.g. T Level, A Levels, or equivalent).
* Strong interest in IT with basic understanding of PCs, operating systems, networking and cloud services.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); confident speaking with customers and suppliers.
* Proactive, reliable, flexible, and eager to learn with a strong work ethic.
* Hybrid working: able to work from our Brentwood office at least two days per week.
* Due to our location, your own transport is essential; full UK driving licence preferred.
About you - Desirable
* Any exposure to Microsoft 365 admin, or ticketing systems.
* Awareness of security/backup concepts and tools such as Bitdefender, Avanan, Redstor.
* Interest in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, Wi-Fi).
