A well-established comprehensive school in the West Midlands is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join its Performing Arts faculty from September. This full-time role suits a practitioner who is keen to inspire confidence, creativity, and performance skills in young people. About the Role You will deliver Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4, with scope to teach GCSE Drama and support extracurricular performance opportunities. The role involves both practical workshop-based teaching and written analysis of performance texts. Key Responsibilities Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4 Prepare students for GCSE Drama, including devised and scripted performance work Direct or support school productions and performance evenings Foster confidence, collaboration, and creative risk-taking in students Assess practical and written coursework against exam board criteria Liaise with Music and Art colleagues on cross-curricular performing arts events The School Environment The school has a vibrant Performing Arts faculty with a dedicated drama studio and a strong tradition of whole-school productions.
