Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Location: Derby An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established consultancy based in Derby. The Role As a Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Designing and overseeing ground investigations Carrying out Phase 1 Desk Studies and supporting Phase 2 site investigations Producing geotechnical and interpretative reports Undertaking geotechnical risk assessments Soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring and logging Liaising with clients, contractors and internal project teams You will also work closely with senior engineers and have the opportunity to support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
