Children in Our Care (CIOC) Social Worker - Blackburn with Darwen Children's Services About the Role Blackburn with Darwen Children's Services, rated Good in their recent ILCAS inspection, is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Our Care (CIOC) team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in CIOC work, safeguarding, and care proceedings. You will provide high-quality social work practice, including assessments, care and pathway planning, permanency planning, and statutory reviews, ensuring the child's voice is central to all decisions. Key Responsibilities As a CIOC Social Worker, you will: Undertake child and family assessments in partnership with children, parents/carers, and multi-agency teams, ensuring risk is assessed appropriately.
