The Payload:
- Solid Basic Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (fully open and negotiable based on your experience and technical skills).
- Enhanced Overtime: Boost your take-home earnings with optional overtime paid at a flat Time and a Half rate.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Testing Excellence: Conducting DVSA-compliant Class 4 MOT tests efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards of safety and integrity.
- Quality Inspections: Performing comprehensive vehicle health checks and diagnosing MOT-failing defects.
- Clear Communication: Accurately logging test data onto the DVSA system and clearly explaining required repairs to the front-of-house service team.
- Supporting the Workshop: Helping the close-knit team with light mechanical repairs, servicing, or MOT prep work between tests when the bay is quiet.
- Quality Over Speed: Working in a supportive environment where accuracy, safety, and compliance are valued over rushing vehicles through the bay.
What We Need From You:
- Qualifications: Must possess a valid, current DVSA MOT Testing License (Class 4 minimum).
- Experience: A proven track record working as an MOT Tester or Technician/Tester in a professional garage environment.
- Mindset: A reliable, honest professional with high standards of compliance and a team-player attitude who takes pride in ensuring road safety.
- Location: Based within a comfortable commute of Haywards Heath.
- A full UK driving licence (with no serious motoring convictions).
