A Senior Leadership Opportunity in a Growing Private Client Team
An established and progressive employee-owned law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious solicitor to lead its expanding Private Client Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior private client lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice. The role combines strategic leadership, team development and hands-on fee earning work, offering genuine influence over the future direction of the department.
The Role
Private Client Solicitor to play a central role in leading and developing the Private Client Department, ensuring consistently high standards of client care, compliance and departmental performance.
Key responsibilities will include:

* Leading, managing and developing the Private Client Department
* Overseeing departmental performance, compliance and service delivery standards
* Supervising and mentoring solicitors, a trainee solicitor and support staff
* Managing a varied personal caseload including:\n
\n
o Wills
o Probate and estate administration
o Trusts
o Lasting Powers of Attorney
o Deputyship matters
\n
* Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations
\n
What We Are Looking For
\n
* Private Client Solicitor with significant experience in private client law
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent technical expertise and client care standards
* Commercial awareness with experience of working towards financial targets
* STEP qualification (preferred) or willingness to work towards accreditation
\n
