Job Advert – Operations Coordinator Location: Sale, M33Salary: £28,638 per annumHours: 37.5 hours per week, permanent, office-based (with flexible working hours) Are you highly organised, proactive, and passionate about operational excellence? We are looking for a dedicated Operations Coordinator to join our expanding Operations Team. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen our capacity, provide resilience, and support the safe and compliant running of our services. You’ll work closely with the Business Support Manager and alongside an existing Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across compliance, Health & Safety, facilities, fleet management, and projects. What you’ll do: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, fire safety, and CQC standards. Coordinate refurbishments, repairs, and maintenance projects. Liaise with contractors, monitor performance, and ensure safety standards are met. Oversee fleet compliance, ensuring vehicles are safe, legal, and well maintained. Maintain accurate operational records, compliance logs, and audit trails. Act as a key point of contact for staff and contractors, providing clear and professional communication. Support risk management, incident reporting, and business continuity planning. Contribute to sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance. What we’re looking for: Essential: Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in compliance, Health & Safety, facilities, contractor, or fleet coordination. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mileage paid). Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities. Desirable: Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance in health/social care. Experience with refurbishments, facilities projects, or vehicle compliance. Familiarity with LOLER, PAT testing, and other statutory requirements.
