Job Title: History Teacher Location: Sheffield (S35) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Ignite curiosity in learners by connecting them with the people, places, and events that define history. GSL Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic History Teacher to join schools across Sheffield, supporting learners in the S35 district. The role involves delivering engaging lessons that strengthen pupils’ analytical, research, and critical thinking skills. As a History Teacher, you will guide pupils through key historical periods, encourage enquiry and discussion, and foster curiosity about human stories and societal change. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver stimulating history lessons across a range of topics. Support pupils in developing analytical, research, and writing skills Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as a History Teacher. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
