JobSummary:
This post isresponsible for the delivery of effective and efficient businesssupport to Adult Social Care Operations and PeopleCommissioning.
The BusinessSupport team provides an initial contact service to all clients andinternal and external agencies and provides administrative supportservices to social workers OT s andmanagement.
The post holderwill contribute to effective recording and reporting against AdultSocial Care (ASC) objectives andactivity.
KeyDuties/Accountabilities:
To provideconfidential administrative support to Adult Social Care Operationsand PeopleCommissioning.
Monitoring andaction tasks in ASC inboxes and updatingspreadsheets.
Contribute tothe effective development of the locality based operational modelof social care and is open to feedback and seeks out personalopportunities to learn andgrow.
To carry outproject work and assist in the preparation of research material andcollation of data for operational management and statistics asrelevant to the post.
To support services withmeeting support where appropriate including agenda preparationorganizing meetings taking and preparing minutes and action points.
To undertake a broad rangeof business support functions including maintaining cost centrebudget spreadsheets raising invoices to recoup monies andcoordinating monthly financial returns.
To provide support inmeeting statutory duties including Safeguarding Hospital SocialWork Team Commissioning Discharge to Assess and IT enquiriesspecific to ASC systems and databases.
coordinate the response forFreedom of Information (FOI) Complaints MP and Members Enquiriesacross the adult social care department.
To provide advice andguidance to internal and external customers / members of the publicon processes and enquiries in writing and verbally.
To provide input in ASCPanel process and prepare note update and disseminate outcomes forover 25k support packages.
Plan prioritise and deliverallocated work within agreed processes and frameworks includingcoordinating work of others.
To undertake any other rolesthat are commensurate with therole.
EssentialExperienceRequired:
We would likesomeone who has experience of working within local authorities andpreferably with experience of working in adult socialcare.
Experience ofworking within a social care environment with vulnerable people.
Experience of working with arange of partners in social careprovision.
Able to useoffice software suites including Microsoft Office (Word ExcelPowerPoint Outlook) client information systems and flexible ways ofworking (e.g. video conferencing remote working).
