Job Title: Regional Sales Director / Operations Director
As a global, private equity-backed corporate business, we operate at pace with demanding customers, supplying into the construction, healthcare, and education markets. We are seeking a Regional Sales Director / Operations Director to oversee approximately £80 million P&L across the North-West of England, demonstrating collaborative leadership, strategic awareness, and a balanced sales and operations background.
Basic Salary:
£110,000 - £130,000 + 30% STIP

Location:
Home based, covering the North West of the UK (e.g., Liverpool, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Chester, Crewe, Derby, Stockport, Bolton).
Job Description:
In this role, you will direct the operational and strategic course for your region, ensuring smooth operations and driving significant growth. The ideal candidate will possess robust commercial acumen, strategic planning skills, and experience in process transformation to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage commercial operations across 4-6 depot locations with an £80 million P&L and £30 million EBITDA.
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 7-10 direct and indirect reports, focusing on development and succession planning.
* Implement sales strategies to ensure profitable growth with key clients, including major construction contractors.
* Promote a safety-first culture and lead transformational change emphasizing safety, service, quality, cost, and delivery.
* Operate under high performance expectations set by our private equity firm, with recognition for achievements.
Person Specification:

* Fast-paced manufacturing or construction-related business, possibly in food, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or larger corporations.
* Leading and developing teams of 5-10 direct and over 60 indirect employees.

* Managing a £20 million+ P&L with a focus on profitable growth.
* Experience with continuous improvement, transformational change, and M&A integration.
