Essential Competencies:

4. To have a good working knowledge of all fence types, electrical fencing systems and access control systems
5. To have a working knowledge of gate automation
6. To have knowledge of fabrication in relation to fences and gates
7. To be experienced in man management skills
8. To have a good working knowledge of sub-contracting procedures and practices
9. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
10. Assist with installations when required – Instructed by Contracts Director/ Manager
11. Supervise contracts at site level and assist with management
12. Client contact for direction of contracts
13. Site set up
14. Liaison with site staff
15. Method Statements preparation
16. Risk Assessments preparation
17. Site Health & Safety
18. Ensure quality control and test inspection documents for the project are completed as per planned timescales.
19. For promoting good practice of material sustainability (Reuse and/or Recycle) initiatives to reduce waste and save costs.
20. Ensuring that where applicable, contractor's operatives are competent, qualified and licensed to undertake their work activities correctly and that all plant and equipment used is tested, maintained and certified as specified
21. Ensuring all necessary checks to ensure that installed services and equipment complies with the contract documentation
22. Monitor the recording and reporting all defective materials and substandard quality/workmanship standards that do not meet the works specification/s
23. Determine and assess the need for additional staff and resources
24. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify project risks and devise contingency plans
25. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
