Our Client, Bury Council, is seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join their Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Respond to urgent safeguarding concerns out of hours
* Carry out risk assessments and make quick decisions
* Arrange emergency placements/accommodation
* Work with police, health, and other services
* Handle crisis situations (e.g. abuse, domestic incidents)
* Record actions and handover to day teams
* Use legal powers (e.g. Police Protection, EPOs)
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
* Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience as a Social Worker
