Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Woodchurch, Wirral
Salary: £460-£500 per week
Working Days: Monday-Friday (full-time), working hours 8:15am – 15:30pm
Start Date: September 2026
Connex Education are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Early Years teaching assistant for a wonderful nursery school based in Woodchurch, Wirral. For this opportunity, we require a minimum of a level 2, or ideally a level three qualification within early years.

About the supply role:
The role will involve providing general support and on occasion, one-to-one support in the SEN rooms. Experience working in EYFS and experience with SEN needs is essential.

Qualifications and requirements:
* Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB ETC)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working in Early Years is essential for this role.
* Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.
* The ability to adapt to different learning environments.
* It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
