Arboriculture Technical Services Manager

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage our national arboricultural consultancy business in line with the highest professional standards, meeting safety compliance standards, and ensuring delivery of the current & future budget.
* Contribute to the effective planning and delivery of consultancy activities.
* Facilitate the compilation and review of client reports independently or with other surveyors.
* Manage the ongoing professional development of in-house consultants, including CPD & Upskilling.
* Support the Regional Director in bidding for new business.
* Develop and maintain high-quality relationships with clients.
* Provide technical advice to other parts of Glendale and The Parkwood Group.
* Produce reports related to operational activity and business development.
* Safeguard and enhance the company's image and credibility.
* Take responsibility for health and safety, actively participating in maintaining and improving the overall Company Health and Safety culture.
* Ensure the maintenance of Quality Standards, particularly the application of the Company Quality System, maintained to BS EN 9001 standard.
* Ensure the maintenance of Environmental Standards and compliance with BS EN ISO 14001:1996 at the contract.
Candidate Profile:
* Established track record as a successful manager, either self-employed or in a small/medium enterprise.
* Strong client management skills with a focus on customer service and project delivery.
* Ability to manage in a corporate environment, primarily responsible for budget, HR, and business development.
* Competent in managing a distributed workforce working in urban and rural, often remote, locations.
* Proficient in using maps, schematics, and navigational aids.
* Ability to plan, monitor, and record progress against work programmes.
* Experience with managing data within various software platforms.
Qualifications:
* Recognised tree surveyor qualification at Level 3 or above, or vocational experience of equivalent level.
* Professional Tree Inspector Certification & QTRA registration would be ideal.
* Other relevant industry and business management qualifications are desirable.
