Salary: £100,000 + £10,000 KPI Bonus

This is not a day-to-day operational role. Instead, the GMD will act as a strategic catalyst, ensuring directors are accountable for delivery, performance, and results across our housing, estates, and social impact portfolio.

What You’ll Do
* Lead strategically: Work with the Executive Board to deliver ambitious housing, financial, and impact goals.
* Drive accountability: Ensure directors deliver measurable results in voids, spend control, and maintenance.
* Champion digital transformation: Embed AI and data-driven tools to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance tenant experience.
* Balance growth & purpose: Drive financial discipline while safeguarding Caridon’s mission to create social value.
* Represent with influence: Build trust with regulators, investors, commissioners, and partners.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven leadership – 10+ years at executive level in housing, property, or a related sector.
* Commercial sharpness – skilled in cost control, financial oversight, and sustainable growth.
* Digital mindset – experience leading AI and technology transformation projects.
* Cultural leadership – able to embed a high-performance, results-driven culture while protecting director autonomy.
* Resilient and collaborative – outcome-focused, socially conscious, and confident in navigating complexity.
