About the Role
We need a Senior Data Scientist who will provide technical excellence and be a key contributor to the team and domain’s delivery. Acting as a go‑to expert in your area, you will develop data solutions, share knowledge, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive data research and analysis.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for project scope, delivery approach, and project outputs, ensuring timeliness and quality.
* Develop other data scientists into more capable and experienced people.
* Collaborate with other teams to understand stakeholder needs and find ways to meet them within technical constraints.
* Query data using SQL and other data manipulation tools.
* Explore available data leveraging Python to answer complex business questions.
* Define sensible business metrics for complex problems.
* Apply sophisticated statistical techniques and advise on scientific best practice.
* Perform detailed data visualisations.
* Produce reports and presentations for stakeholders and use data to influence decisions.
* Responsible for implementing complex algorithms within your area of expertise.
* Develop and iterate prototype solutions in line with the team’s standards.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience working with SQL and Python.
* Experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
* Strong stakeholder and business partner management; ability to use data to make recommendations and influence.
* Experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced data environment.
