Offer description

About You

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Talent Development Partner (6-month FTC) who is passionate about shaping careers, building capability and delivering meaningful development experiences across the organisation.

You bring strong experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development or Organisational Development, with a particular strength in coordinating Early Careers programmes such as graduates, apprentices or interns. You understand what it takes to run high-quality programmes end-to-end, balancing structure, governance and engagement to create a standout experience for emerging talent.

You are highly organised and thrive in programme management, confidently overseeing multiple workstreams, timelines and stakeholders while ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. From attraction and onboarding through to development, progression and completion, you take ownership and deliver with consistency and care.

Alongside your operational strengths, you are equally passionate about developing people at all levels. You have experience designing and delivering leadership and core skills development, creating engaging, practical learning that resonates. Whether it is supporting first-time managers or building leadership capability, you know how to bring learning to life in a way that sticks.

You are confident working across a blended learning approach - facilitating workshops, delivering programmes and collaborating with external providers to create impactful development experiences. You understand how to apply adult learning principles to ensure everything you deliver is relevant, engaging and outcome focused.

A natural collaborator, you build strong relationships across the business, partnering with leaders, HR colleagues and external providers. You communicate clearly, influence effectively and bring others with you to deliver successful outcomes.

Above all, you are passionate about creating opportunities for people to grow - whether that is supporting early careers talent to thrive or enabling leaders to develop the skills they need to succeed.

We will give you:

Financial:

* Competitive Salary
* Company Pension Scheme
* Life Assurance
* Professional Subscriptions paid for

Lifestyle/Health & Wellbeing:

* 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)
* Health benefits such as Remote GP, 24/7 access to EAP Services (including counsellors and legal advisors) and eyecare voucher
* Monday to Friday working pattern, 37 hour per week
* Colleagues Benefit Booklet with a range of store offers discounts and promotions
* Family Friendly Policies

Your Impact

You will play a key role in shaping how we attract, develop and grow talent across the organisation - owning Early Careers programmes and delivering impactful leadership and skills development.

You will be at the heart of our talent strategy, helping to:

* Own and deliver high-quality Early Careers programmes (graduates, apprentices and interns) from attraction through to completion
* Create engaging and structured onboarding and development experiences for emerging talent
* Ensure strong programme governance, tracking progress, performance, retention and outcomes
* Build meaningful relationships with external partners, providers and education institutions
* Design and deliver leadership and core skills development aligned to organisational priorities
* Support first-time managers and emerging leaders through structured development pathways
* Deliver engaging learning experiences through a blended approach (workshops, programmes and digital learning)

What we are looking for

You are someone who combines strong programme management with a genuine passion for people development, and the ability to deliver impactful learning experiences.

You will likely bring:

* Experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development or Organisational Development
* Proven experience coordinating Early or Emerging Talent programmes
* Experience designing and delivering leadership or management development
* Strong organisational and programme management skills with attention to detail
* Experience working with external training providers or education partners
* A practical understanding of learning design and delivery principles
* A data-aware mindset, using insight to track and improve outcomes
* Understanding of apprenticeships or funded learning frameworks (desirable)
* Insights accreditation (desirable)
