Salary: £41,608 – £50,702
Contract: 37 hours per week
About Us
Our team provides an Occupational Therapy service to Oban, Lorn and neighbouring islands on the north‑west coast of Scotland. We are an Integrated Occupational Therapy Team based in the hospital in Oban and work primarily with the adult population in both inpatient and community settings. We also provide a community visiting service to the inner Hebridean islands including Colonsay, Coll and Tiree and have a small Occupational Therapy team based on the island of Mull. Peer support is provided by our very experienced Occupational Therapy team with a broad range of specialisms and areas of special interest and CPD is fully supported.
About The Role
This post offers the opportunity for a highly motivated and confident Band 6 to join our Integrated Occupational Therapy Team. It offers rotational experience across both ward and community settings, with a strong reablement focus.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage the day‑to‑day workload of Band 5 Occupational Therapists and/or Band 4 assistants.
* Provide rotational care across ward and community settings, focusing on reablement.
* Expand skill set as required in a fully integrated Occupational Therapy setting.
* Support student placements within the department.
About You
* 3 years post‑qualifying experience.
* Highly motivated and confident.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.
* HCPC registered.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Relocation package available if meets NHS Scotland policies.
