Heating Assessor Help Experienced Engineers Step into Renewables Location: Whiteley (PO15) In-person Delivery OnlySalary: From £35,000 (Permanent) or £200/day (Freelance)Contract Options: Full-time, part-time, or freelanceDo you have a solid background in heating and plumbing and experience with Air Source Heat Pumps ? Looking to step off the tools and into a more rewarding, long-term role?Were hiring a Heating Assessor to join our growing technical training team at SERTs Whiteley training centre. Youll assess and support experienced engineers transitioning into the renewable energy space, with a focus on Air Source, Solar Thermal, and future-ready low-carbon technologies.What You'll Do Deliver and assess hands-on, classroom-based training in Air Source Heat Pumps, from system design to commissioning and fault findingAssess competence and readiness for certification through Cert-ain and OFTEC standardsDeliver short-course content including Water Regulations and hot water systems (training provided if needed)Help shape the workforce needed to deliver the UKs Net Zero goalsNo Assessing Experience?
No Problem. SERT will fund and support your development, including the Level 3 Award in Education & Training and assessor qualifications (TAQA/A1). Well also help you gain any necessary endorsements for OFTEC and Cert-ain delivery.
