We are currently recruiting for an admin officer based in Ballykelly. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension
Rate of pay: £19.59
Hours of work: Full time 9 – 5pm Mon to Fri
Key Responsibilities:
Engaging with policy makers across government, including other jurisdictions and rural stakeholders to champion rural NI. To co-design plans for a new rural funding model to support the delivery of DAERA’s emerging future rural policy, including consideration of DAERA’s wider policy objectives in relation to agriculture and the environment. To assist in the development of Outline Business Cases to work in partnership with other NICS Departments, including Department for Communities, with the aim of continuing to work collaboratively to implement a strategic and integrated approach to build on the assets of rural communities.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
Proof of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grade C or above or the equivalent to this.
• Skilled in use of MS Suite products and video-conferencing software.
• Business Cases – experience of liaising with different departments to inform and build relevant business cases based on the five-case model.
• Project management – experience of liaising with different departments/ delivery leads to ensure work is delivered on time to a high standard.
• 5 GCSEs with a minimum of 12 months’ experience incl. English & Maths
• 2 A levels with a minimum of 12/18 months’ experience
• A degree with a minimum of 12 months’ experience
A qualification or experience in business studies, economics or a related field.
