The Fitting Supervisor will be reporting to Head of Production and will also have “dotted line” responsibility to the Operations Director. Their duties will primarily be the smooth and effective controlling of all fitting activities (fit out and quality checks) along with any other task as directed by Line manager or SLG member. What you'll be doing: Daily management of the fit out department, ensuring workflow and productivity requirements are achieved/followed. Manage the departmental resource and consumable stock etc. Overseeing and supporting factory fit out team, including daily liaising with other departmental supervisors/managers. Maintenance of company procedures and documentation Management of adherence of company procedures with particular emphasis in regards the company’s health and safety policies. Who we are looking for: No formal qualification is required (although a materials handling license is essential). Recognised industrial training is advantageous. The Fitting Supervisor may from time to time be expected to learn new skills in order to keep pace with evolution of new technology and or new machinery within the business.
