We’re looking for a people-focused, hands-on Operations Manager to join our tight-knit team in Ashburton. The RoleAs Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the action — coordinating day-to-day operations, leading a dedicated team, and helping us deliver on our promise of top-quality service to farmers across New Zealand. From scheduling and logistics to inventory, marketing, and customer service, you’ll have a hand in every part of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily business operations, including scheduling, logistics, purchasing, and administration.
* Lead and support our hoof trimming and office teams — both in the field and behind the scenes.
* Oversee marketing strategy and budgets alongside other key business functions.
* Maintain inventory systems and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
* Be a reliable point of contact for customers, solving problems and ensuring satisfaction.
* Contribute to strategic planning, business improvements, and future growth initiatives.
What We're Looking For

* Someone who sets high standards and takes pride in their achievements, both personally and as part of a team.
* 5+ years of operations management experience, ideally in agriculture, animal health, or a similar field.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with livestock, hoof care, or on-farm operations is a bonus — but not essential.
* Proficient with business software (we use Capsule, Cin7, and Xero).
* Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
