* Planned preventative maintenance programmes.
* Responding to reactive call-outs to minimise service disruption.
* Working safely in live rail environments in accordance with all Network Rail standards.
* Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance and quality delivery.
What We're Looking For
* Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) accreditation (essential).
* Time-served electrician qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or fault rectification.
* Rail sector background advantageous but not mandatory if you have strong commercial/industrial electrical experience and are willing to adapt.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
* Strong safety focus and ability to work methodically under time pressure.
What We Offer
* Competitive hourly/day rates (aligned with current rail industry standards — attractive earnings potential with overtime and shift premiums).
* Long-term, ongoing work on one of the UK's busiest rail corridors.
* Opportunities for additional rail accreditations and career progression.
* Supportive site teams and focus on quality workmanship.
* Work that directly supports the travelling public and keeps the railway moving.
