About the RoleA dynamic and growing company who is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Assistant to support its expanding operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in finance administration who is confident using ERP systems and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. You’ll be instrumental in managing financial processes and providing administrative support across the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately input and process invoices
* Operate the Xero ERP system for financial tasks
* Manage supplier payments and maintain payment records
* Update monthly financial overviews and reports
* Monitor cash flow and forecast financial activity
* Use procurement and invoicing systems such as Ariba (e.g., for major clients)
* Liaise with external accountants and manage HMRC account interactions
* Raise purchase orders and manage delivery documentation
* Perform general administrative duties and maintain digital/physical files
* Order parts and supplies as needed
* Support internal audits and compliance activities

Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience with Xero or similar ERP/accounting systems
* Familiarity with Ariba or other procurement platforms is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and accountants
