The role
As Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of high-voltage electrical projects typically valued between £1m and £30m.
You will be trusted to manage projects from early engagement and pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, acting as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include
* Leading the delivery of HV and renewable energy projects end-to-end
* Managing programme, budget, procurement, and commercial performance
* Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and quality on site
* Leading project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Coordinating with design engineers and supporting technical decision-making
* Acting as the primary interface with clients, DNOs, TSOs, and other stakeholders
* Mentoring project engineers and supporting team development
What we are looking for
This role is suited to someone with a strong background in electrical or HV project delivery who is comfortable operating at senior level.
You will likely have
* Experience delivering HV or electrical infrastructure projects within a contractor or engineering services environment
* Proven project management experience with complex, multi-disciplinary projects
* Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets and supply chains
* An electrical engineering qualification at degree or HND level
* A collaborative leadership style and clear communication skills
* Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
* Chartered status or progress toward IEng or CEng is advantageous
