About the Role:Firth Park Surgery is seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to join our Clinical Rota/Operations Team on a part-time basis. In this key role, you will support the planning and coordination of the clinical rota and assist with operational and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our clinical services.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain clinical rotas for GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
* Handle last-minute changes, sickness, and annual leave cover in a timely manner
* Liaise with clinical and management teams to ensure sufficient service coverage
* Update and distribute rota schedules, ensuring accuracy at all times
* Provide administrative and operational support including data entry, documentation, and coordination of meetings
* Use practice systems and rota management tools effectively
* Maintain accurate records in line with audit and compliance requirements

Overview of your organisation
We are an over 10000 + patient surgery, having 5 partners (Including the Clinical Director of the PCN,) within a diverse inner city population. We strive to provide good access and maintain high levels of care. We are an active member of the PCN and have a passion for training and education. We are part of the Deep End Support Group for Practices, and are supported by, Care Coordinators, Mental Health Workers, A Physician Associate and Clinical Pharmacists together with an ACP, 3 Nurses, 2 x Health Care Assistants.
