Electrician - Local Authority / Council across Leicester
* Salary: £17.60 per hour PAYE or £22.37 via Umbrella
* Contract Type: Temporary (potential to become permanent after 13 weeks)
* Working Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team. This role involves a variety of electrical tasks, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Perform electrical inspections and testing, including initial verification.
* Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with the 18th Edition regulations.
* Use personal hand tools for various tasks; additional tools and a van will be provided if needed.
* Attend an electrical assessment with one of our Quality Controllers (QC) as part of the recruitment process. The assessment will take place in an empty property and will last a maximum of 3 hours.
* Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and safety at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must hold the Inspecting and Testing Module initial verification.
* Must be qualified to the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations.
* Must have own hand tools.
* Full valid driving licence is essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
