REAL ESTATE SOLICITOR - NQ-1 PQE An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified to 1 year PQE Solicitor to join the team within a highly regarded national Real Estate practice, based in Birmingham. The team advises on a broad range of commercial property matters, acting for established and growing property funds, offshore companies, national retail operators and local SMEs. The Real Estate team works across all key disciplines including commercial development, investment, mixed-use schemes, landlord and tenant matters, retail and leisure, finance and securitisation, planning, environmental and real estate litigation. The team also collaborates closely with corporate, banking and restructuring teams, as well as specialist property consultancy businesses, offering a unique and integrated service to clients. Key Responsibilities Manage and assist on a range of real estate matters, including investment acquisitions and disposals. Support on transactions involving property investment funds, institutional landlords and corporate occupiers. Analyse due diligence, prepare title reports and provide clear, pragmatic commercial advice. Draft and negotiate key documentation including leases, agreements for lease, licences to assign, licences to alter and other asset management documents. Assist with landlord and tenant matters across retail, office and industrial sectors. Support corporate, banking and restructuring teams on property aspects of transactions. Contribute to drafting transaction documents such as warranties, disclosure letters and business purchase agreements (desirable). Assist with property finance matters including certificates of title (desirable). Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues across the wider real estate and professional services teams. The Candidate Applications are welcomed from newly qualified Solicitors up to 1 year PQE with relevant real estate experience gained during a training contract or as a Paralegal. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Experience or exposure to commercial real estate work. Understanding of investment acquisitions, asset management and landlord & tenant matters. Strong drafting skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyse legal information and provide practical commercial advice.
