We are currently recruiting an experienced Weighbridge Operator to join a busy operational site. This is a key front-of-house role, responsible for controlling vehicle movements, maintaining accurate weighbridge records, and ensuring compliance with site procedures, health & safety, and weight regulations.
You will be the first point of contact for drivers and visitors, supporting site operations by ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles and accurate reporting of all inbound and outbound materials.

Key Responsibilities:
11. Operate the weighbridge, accurately weighing vehicles on entry and exit
12. Ensure all weights reconcile with stock control and loading/unloading records
13. Control access for all inbound and outbound vehicles
14. Verify that vehicles leave site with correct paperwork and within legal weight limits
15. Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and material types
16. Enter all incoming and outgoing materials onto the company database in real time
17. Manage vehicle booking sheets
18. Notify Goods In/Out of arrivals, collections, and vehicle contents
19. Induct new drivers and ensure all drivers comply with PPE, site rules, and H&S procedures
20. Act as first point of contact for visitors and external deliveries
21. Compile production and operational reports for department managers
22. Regulate vehicle flow to maximise site efficiency and production
23. Communicate effectively with internal departments including Operations, Engineering, Reuse, and Business Support
Skills & Experience Required:
24. Previous weighbridge experience
25. Desirable- working knowledge of vehicle weight regulations
26. Strong attention to detail
27. Excellent communication skills
28. Confident using IT systems
29. Proven data entry experience
30. Ability to work independently and use initiative
31. Comfortable working in an environment with varying noise levels
