Sales Administrator – 12 Month Maternity Cover
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
This role suits someone with strong communication and organisational skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment and enjoys providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process customer orders received via email and phone, ensuring accuracy and prompt handling
* Validate order details and invoices to maintain data accuracy
* Liaise with logistics partners to resolve delivery queries and support smooth order fulfilment
* Maintain and update sales records, customer information, and order tracking systems
* Stay up to date with new products, promotions, and company updates
* Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing professional and timely responses
* Work closely with internal teams, including procurement and warehouse, to support sales operations, stock updates, and customer returns
* Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including reporting and ad-hoc tasks
What We're Looking For:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
* Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, or a similar office-based role
* Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with OrderWise ERP is advantageous but not essential
* A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
