Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tester (Electrical & Pressure) to join a reputable manufacturing company specialising in the design and production of automotive components and accessories, particularly for original equipment (OE) applications.
As a Tester (Electrical & Pressure), you will be responsible for testing, assembling, and evaluating components to ensure operational quality. This full-time role offers a salary range of £23,800, increasing to £25,000 after probation.
Responsibilities
* Operating testing equipment to assess component performance and safety
* Performing electrical and pressure tests on components
* Assembling parts using hand-held battery tools
* Conducting visual inspections, including weld quality
* Preparing tools and equipment, including routine maintenance
* Arranging parts for next-stage processes with proper storage and transport
* Supporting quality evaluations and reporting any production issues
* Handling and manoeuvring components
What we are looking for
* Previously worked as a Testing Operative, Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Tester, Test Operative, Test Technician or in a similar role.
* Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous
* Strong work ethic and focus on task completion
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Excellent attention to detail
