Sister/Charge Nurse - Emergency Department
We are looking to recruit to complement our already excellent experienced team of Band 7 Sisters/Charge Nurses. The Band 7 Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination and delivery of high quality patient care within the ED.
We provide all staff with educational development through our departmental education team and promote an active coaching environment for all staff.
We also provide a Band 7 development package for new staff within the Emergency Department.
Are you an experienced Emergency Department Nurse looking to develop yourself within a senior sister role, have experience as a Band 6 Nurse within ED, are committed to providing excellent patient care within a busy department working within local and national targets, possess excellent communication skills and good time management, and can work in a well‑established and dynamic team? If so, this may be the job for you.
As a senior clinical leader, the post holder will manage patient flow, support the MDT. The Band 7 nurse coordinator provides visible leadership, clinical expertise and operational oversight to maintain the standards of emergency nursing care in alignment with national targets, trust policies and professional standards.
