Changing children's lives for the better
Make a difference. Feel rewarded. Be the change.
We offer a wide range of career opportunities across our residential care, education, and therapeutic services for 6 to 18-year-olds from diverse backgrounds who have encountered various adverse childhood experiences. These include complex trauma, foster placement breakdowns, and difficulties engaging in education.
Many of the young people we support have mental and developmental diagnoses impacting their daily functioning. We make every interaction with them therapeutic in nature to help manage these challenges.
Whether you join us as a residential care worker, teacher, adventurer, or part of the support team, you’ll be making a significant difference in a young person’s life.
There are many reasons to join us, including competitive pay, fast-track progression opportunities, well-being benefits, access to our holiday home for breaks, and a warm, family-like work environment with a culture focused on fun.
We lead with purpose. Our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments are central to shaping the future of social care and education.
What can we offer you?
We work hard, but we also recognize the importance of work-life balance. That’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package alongside a competitive salary.
* Opportunities across 5 independent SEND schools (including Esland online school)
We value qualities such as being bold, fun, kind, and curious. We encourage making a difference through charity initiatives and are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Our ESG and sustainability focus guide our initiatives.
Having worked in residential care for several years, I have found Esland to be a great company, truly focusing on the children and supporting staff, which was important to me. The team environment is strong, and the induction and ongoing training are excellent. It’s one of the best companies I have worked for.
