We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and assisting with various accounting tasks. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
* Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
* Support financial management activities by maintaining accurate records of transactions and reconciliations.
* Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft for data entry and report generation.
* Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency in financial operations.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
