An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the delivery of Talking Therapies through a data and communication/engagement role. We are looking for a highly motivated, pro-active individual who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and lots of initiative who is seeking a new challenge.
You will be responsible for a range of data communication/engagement duties and liaise and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that our NHS Talking Therapies Services remain a respected and valued partner within the changing mental health landscape.
Main duties of the job
To support CWP Talking Therapies Services in the development of individual and service performance management reports through the use of data compiled from the patient electronic record keeping system.
To provide support to develop and monitor key performance indicators and will assist in the interpretation of performance information and its application to the service.
To lead on all aspects of the operation of the PC-MIS electronic patient record system within the service; including access to the system; training, guidance and ongoing support for staff in the use for the system; updating and adapting of the system, and managing system change; data quality issues.
To provide specialist communications and engagement support to Talking Therapies services. This includes responsibility for a range of communication and engagement activities as well as support with internal and external channels for the overall team. The role will ensure that Talking Therapies promotion, policies and processes are effective and in line with the wider Trust Communications Team.
Supervision and line management of Admin staff engaged in data and communication work.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Degree in Business Admin/studies or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
* Project Management Qualification or equivalent experience
* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in communications, engagement or a related discipline.
* An understanding of the NHS Talking Therapies model
Knowledge and Expertise
Essential criteria
* Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. Data Protection Act
* Understand the main principles of communications and engagement
* Working knowledge of software programmes e.g. Microsoft applications and associated databases
* Knowledge of Talking Therapies clinical processes, systems and pathways
* Extensive knowledge of patient electronic record system
Desirable criteria
* Working knowledge of IT hardware
* An understanding of the contracting and performance monitoring framework for NHS Trusts
* Advanced level of MS Excel expertise
* Knowledge of key issues currently facing the NHS
* Knowledge of existing and emerging guidance and policy around the involvement of service users, carers and the public within the NHS
Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience of writing and engaging with for different audiences
* Experience of sourcing and writing content for multiple channels and audiences
* Experience of liaising with external agencies
* Demonstrable experience in working with online media – this should include content management systems
* Knowledge/experience of using online media platforms to achieve objectives within communication campaigns
* Ability to deliver training
* Managerial experience
* Ability to work as part of a team and to lead and encourage others to do so
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of working in the NHS
* Direct experience of the services provided by the Trust, either as a service user or carer
* Experience of working in mental health, learning disability, drug/alcohol services, or community care services in the NHS
* Experience in website development / design / content management
* Competent in the use of Adobe Photoshop, audio and video recording equipment and online content management systems
* Experience of consultation process
