We are looking for an Operations Manager who already understands electrical contracting or manufacturing and can hit the ground running. You will bring strong H&S awareness, confidence working with KPIs and operational systems, and the mindset to take ownership and drive standards. This is a role for someone who thrives in an SME environment where initiative matters, decisions are yours to make, and the impact of what you do is seen immediately across the business.
Salary (yearly) £65K - £75K
Important: Sector Experience is Essential. This role requires direct, hands‑on experience in electrical contracting, M&E services, or a directly comparable technical installation or manufacturing environment. We are unable to consider applications without this background, regardless of broader operations management experience.
As Operations Manager you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day running of the business — from office administration through to site operations and supplier relationships. This is a genuinely broad role in a lean, fast‑moving SME, and it suits someone who moves comfortably between a desk and a client site visit.
The position requires periodic travel to various customer sites across the UK, which may include overnight stays. This is an integral part of the role and we are looking for someone who embraces that environment.
