Assistant Manager, Treasury, Debt, Capital & Treasury Advisory

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to play a key role in project delivery and business development within Deloitte's Treasury Advisory team, part of the Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory practice. The team provides independent advice and execution across the full spectrum of debt, capital and treasury areas through the Firm's global network.

The Treasury Advisory team is expanding to work alongside Corporate Treasury and Private Equity teams in an advisory capacity, addressing complex financial and operational challenges. This role focuses on project delivery while supporting senior team members to grow the pipeline of opportunities and contribute to thought leadership, marketing, innovative propositions and establishing the market-leading position.

Responsibilities

* Assisting with the provision of corporate finance transaction-related advice, including preparation of due diligence reports, management presentations, working capital reports and communications with private equity and corporate clients
* Researching industries and companies for deal origination and transaction analysis
* Advising and assisting companies, as part of a team, with operational aspects of projects such as cash management solution implementations and treasury transformation projects
* Contributing to marketing and business development opportunities internally and externally, building and developing the network of relationships
* Supporting senior team members in identifying opportunities and preparing client proposals
* Working effectively in a diverse and inclusive team where contributions are recognised


Connect to your skills and professional experience

Essentials

* Qualified (or training towards) accountant (ACA or equivalent) or other relevant professional qualification or degree such as CFA, AMCT, Master in Finance with understanding of accounting principles as they relate to Treasury
* Corporate Treasury experience gained ideally within the Treasury department of a large corporate or in a consulting firm
* Excellent numeracy skills with attention to detail and ability to analyse large amounts of data quickly
* Commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients and ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships with clients and other professionals across the firm
* Fluency in oral and written English
* Critical mindset with the ability to ask probing questions to get to the bottom of challenges
* Open mindset to take on a wide range of work to help a growing team
* Desire to work in an advisory environment and build a career in professional services

Desirables

* Corporate finance transaction experience
* Advanced spreadsheet skills
