Retail Store Assistant
£12.21 per hour plus benefits
Reports to: Shop Manager
Department: Trading
Location: Great Yarmouth Superstore
Contract: Permanent x 2
Working hours: Part time, 6 hours per week

Role Overview: We’re looking for a motivated store assistant to join our trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, engaging with the community and supporting our mission.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing excellent customer and supporter service
* Achieving sales and fundraising targets as part of the shop team
* Maintaining shop standards, visual presentation, safeguarding, and health & safety compliance
* Building relationships with the community and colleagues
* Supporting fundraising events
* Taking keyholder responsibilities (training provided)
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as required
Candidate Profile:
* Understanding of great customer service
* Experience in busy customer service environments
* Ability to manage workload independently
* Teamwork skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis
