As a Relief Senior Care Worker in our care home, you will help lead the delivery of safe, person centred care for older people. Supporting the team during your shift, you will ensure residents receive consistent care while contributing to the smooth running of the service.
What your day will look like
1. Supporting residents with personal and intimate care
2. Acting as a key worker and supporting care planning
3. Administering medication safely and accurately
4. Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing
5. Supporting and guiding colleagues during the shift
6. Ensuring care records and reports are completed accurately
7. Working alongside health professionals and families
8. Supporting the organisation of the shift where required
About you
You will bring experience in care and the confidence to step into a senior role when supporting different shifts. You will demonstrate a calm and supportive approach while maintaining high standards of care.
You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Basic IT skills are required for recording information and completing training. You must be a member of the PVG Scheme and registered with the SSSC, or willing to join and register.
