We’re recruiting Behaviour Support Assistants to work in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) supporting children and young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education due to behavioural, emotional or social challenges. This is a role for someone resilient, patient, and able to build trust with pupils who may have experienced significant barriers to learning. What your day might look like: Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups Helping students regulate emotions and manage behaviour positively De-escalating challenging situations using a calm approach Encouraging engagement in learning and social development Who we’re looking for: People with strong behaviour management or transferable skills Those with experience in youth work, coaching, care or support work Calm, confident individuals who can build meaningful relationships Why this role?
