A modern and reputable solicitor's firm in Southampton is looking for a full-time Receptionist to join their busy and expanding office.
They are a successful solicitor's firm dealing with a range of matters including Property, Private Client, Family, Employment, and Company & Commercial and Litigation matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Handling incoming enquiries by telephone and meeting and greeting clients and visitors.
2. Assisting in the completion of requested print, scan, and photocopying tasks.
3. Providing typing support when needed.
4. Being flexible by covering for other business support departments such as Reception, Hospitality, Switchboard, and Archiving.
5. Assisting with administrative tasks across different departments.
6. Participating in the distribution of post, DX, couriers, deliveries, and supplies around the firm.
7. Procurement of various supplies, including stationery, photocopier equipment, and franking.
8. Ensuring that stationery stock levels on the floors are sufficiently stocked.
Skills and Requirements:
* At least 1 year of recent experience within a client-facing reception role, preferably within a law firm, is highly desirable but not essential.
* Experience in professional services will be considered.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* Outstanding client and customer service skills.
* Previous experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
