Your Profile
* Experience of installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ideally at utility-scale level.
* Experience of network diagnostics and remote communications experience (desirable).
* Have an understanding of Microsoft Office, phone/tablet and document reporting structures.
* Have a basic understanding of Health & Safety standards and Regulations.
* Hold Level 2 Technical Certificate in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* Level 3 BS7671:2018 (18th Ed).
* ECS/CSCS Card (desirable).
* SMSTS (desirable).
Your Tasks
* Understand and identify risks at site, follow company and site-specific risk assessment and method statements/statement of works, be aware of health and safety issues and report any on-site concerns to relevant managers.
* .Assist with scheduled maintenance and corrective maintenance works for solar plants to ensure their successful ongoing operation.
* Liaise with internal and external parties such as in-house low voltage (LV), high voltage (HV) and ground maintenance teams, sub-contractors, and other third parties as directed.
* Assist with troubleshooting monitoring and communication equipment (data logger, routers, sensors, etc.)
* Maintaining detailed records of onsite maintenance activities and to assist with compiling necessary reports and update the company’s ticketing system.
* Undertake all required training and development opportunities professionally and diligently.
* .Take part in the on-call rota for weekends.
