About the Role:
This role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Automation Systems and for developing, implementing, and maintaining validation compliance of computerized systems within STADA Technical Operations. It includes supporting daily production activities, providing engineering support for capital projects, and executing GMP CSV and Data Integrity activities.
The Automation Engineer should have a solid background in Electrical Engineering and strong technical experience in automation, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
The role acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned Automation Systems, providing guidance, managing external contractors, supporting automation improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with GMP and validation standards. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, documentation, training, and supporting validation activities.

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics)
* Strong experience in Automation Systems
* Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is preferred
* Knowledge of Programming, ISA95 control system components (PLC, HMI, SCADA, ERP)
* Facilities, Utilities, Equipment Qualification experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Knowledge of computer system validation (CSV) and regulatory requirements
