Overview

Hours: 60 Hours Per Week. Schedule: Monday to Friday – 05:30 to 17:30 (Subject to Change). Pay Rate: £14.65 Per Hour. Availability: Must be Flexible and Reliable – On Call / Weekend / Out of Hours Availability Required.


Position overview

ASEL is seeking a proactive and experienced Security Site Manager to oversee operations at our client site in Enfield. You will lead a team of 6–7 Security Officers, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and professionally represented at all times. This is a hands-on managerial role requiring excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills. You will act as the primary point of contact between site operations and the client.


Key Responsibilities

* Site Management & Leadership: Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of 6/7 Security Officers to deliver consistent high standards of service. Conduct staff briefings, rota planning, and performance monitoring. Ensure professional presentation and conduct of all officers in line with ASEL standards.
* Client Liaison & Reporting: Report and liaise daily with the site client and Iceland Head Office Security Team. Produce and submit weekly reports to the client. Attend meetings and provide security updates when required.
* Operational Duties: Oversee all on-site guarding responsibilities, including patrolling, monitoring, and risk mitigation. Assess and identify vulnerabilities, implementing proactive measures to minimise risk. Manage incidents, complete detailed reports, and collaborate with local authorities where applicable. Ensure all ASEL systems, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Conduct colleague and contractor searches in line with company policy. Digitally manage incident logs and daily activity via tablets/phones.
* Administration: Maintain accurate records, incident logs, staff documentation and compliance files. Handle basic admin tasks to support site operations.

You must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role. Previous experience in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
