The role involves prospecting and penetrating existing and new accounts within the UK and Ireland to identify and pursue product and service opportunities. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of sales and support activities at these accounts, increasing sales revenues, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Travel may be required to support customers.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities at existing and new accounts within the assigned area.
2. Coordinate activities to increase sales and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
3. Support distributors in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing sales opportunities.
4. Engage with all levels of assigned accounts face-to-face to gain firsthand knowledge of customer issues.
5. Produce quotations and process orders for all sales activities at assigned accounts.
6. Provide initial technical support at accounts.
7. Arrange for advanced support from relevant departments such as customer service, applications, engineering, and marketing.
8. Develop account profiles, including competitive positioning, sales volume, opportunities, and decision makers.
9. Update account strategies and tactics regularly.
10. Forecast sales following AE processes and procedures.
11. Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to respond quickly to opportunities and resolve customer issues.
12. Travel as necessary to perform duties effectively for remote customers.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
Work primarily in a standard office environment using typical office equipment. Local travel of approximately 20-40% is expected.

Experience
Minimum of 5+ years in semiconductor equipment or component sales, preferably in power electronics for plasma-based vacuum applications. Proven experience in supporting high-tech accounts, with a strong knowledge of the thin film industry, semiconductor, or advanced coatings. Experience with vacuum science and plasma processing systems is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, BSEE, or equivalent education and/or experience.
