Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Gate Man on a 6 Month Rolling Contract, based in Ferndown.
Role Summary
To assist the site team with the day-to-day upkeep of site including generators and general site housekeeping as well as tending the main access gate and escorting vehicles in accordance with National Grid Safety Rules, taking of deliveries, and supporting the site management and supervision teams along with other tasks as and when requested by the site manager.
This is a 6-month rolling contract on an 18-month project.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the site management team to ensure that safe and effective delivery of the project.
* Maintain own levels of skill and knowledge to do the job effectively.
* Perform other duties as directed by your line manager or management team.
* Comply with the relevant Company HSQE and welfare policy provisions.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence.
* CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport.
* National Grid Competent Persons NSi 6 & 8 Full.
Desirable
* CPCS Vehicle banksman.
* Site based role. Must have the ability to safely manoeuvre around a construction site including uneven and rough terrain on foot for a minimum of 10 hours per day.
