Vigilant Security is currently recruiting a Security Supervisor - Mobile Officer located in Edinburgh. The officer will be responsible for servicing a number of sites in Edinburgh. This job requires you to drive a client vehicle when required.

Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off
SIA Licence and Driving License is required. The officer will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at various prestigious sites, maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities
* Mobile Patrols, Lock ups and unlocks
* To undertake response to alarm activations on request from the communications centre.
* Undertake site visit inspections in accordance with management instructions.
* Proficient use of relevant communications equipment.
* Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
* Assist staff and visitors to the sites.
* Ensuring that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
* Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
* In addition to these functions, employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.
Key Accountabilities Mobile Team/Keyholding
* Ensure the company vehicle is road worthy at all times (Daily Vehicle Checks).
* Respond to all alarm activations in a timely manner.
* Accurately report all findings from alarm activations.
* Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur using the appropriate reporting procedure.
* Unlock / lock up client’s premises in line with the Assignment Instructions and client’s procedures.
* Ensure all relevant information is passed over on handover.
* Complete schedules to record site visits.
* Complete all required key registers and seal logs.
* Inform line managers of any changes to details/job specifics/issues at site.
Personal Specification
* Current SIA license.
* Full Clean driving licence (held for a minimum of 5 years).
* Experience with Mobile and key Holding duties preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
* Smart and confident.
* Reliable and self-motivated.
* Flexible approach to work.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good I.T Skills, use of Samsung Tablet.
