Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Our client a large Public Sector organisation is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team and help deliver an effective and customer orientated HR service to the assigned business functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. To support customers in the delivery of their business objectives by providing professional and timely HR solutions, advice and support for the assigned business areas, with a primary focus on the effective management of grievance, discipline, dignity at work and attendance management cases.
2. To ensure co-ordination and consistency of advice between the Business Partner teams through regular liaison and exchange of ideas and best practice
3. To provide professional HR advice and support to management at all levels to ensure the consistent implementation of the Dignity at Work, Grievance, Performance and Disciplinary policies and procedures.
4. Support colleagues by mentoring apprentices, training new staff, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
5. To ensure that all cases are managed and progressed in a timely manner.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate:
6. Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management or equivalent Level 7* qualification
7. OR
8. Can demonstrate equivalent underpinning knowledge which must include a degree in HR (or equivalent Level 6* qualification) and continuing professional development Chartered membership of CIPD (MCIPD) or equivalent professional qualifications.
9. Current professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development at Associate member (Assoc CIPD) or above

Can demonstrate ability to obtain this within 1 year of the closing date.
10. Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Human Resources function providing professional advice and guidance to senior management on complex employee relations matters.
11. Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
