Saw Operative - Permanent Night Shift

We are currently recruiting for a Saw Operative to join a well-established steel company based in Scunthorpe. This is a permanent night shift opportunity, offering long-term stability and excellent earning potential.
Shift & Pay Details:
* Pay Rate: £14.91 per hour
* Permanent Nights: 10:00pm - 6:00am
* Shift Allowance: Paid equivalent of 2 additional hours per shift
* Bonus Scheme: Available after successful probation period
Training Period:
* Initial training will take place on rotating shifts:
o 6:00am - 2:00pm
o 2:00pm - 10:00pm
* Training is expected to last approximately 2 months, before moving onto permanent night shifts
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating industrial saws to cut steel to specification
* Measuring and preparing materials accurately
* Ensuring all products meet strict quality standards
* Carrying out basic machine checks and maintenance
* Following health & safety procedures at all times
* Working efficiently to meet production targets
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a steel or manufacturing environment
* Experience operating saws or similar machinery is advantageous
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliability and commitment to night shift work
