We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join Castleview Primary School as Support for Learning Assistants. We have two temporary positions available, each working 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including a 30-minute break. The contracts will run until June 2026.
You will be involved in supporting children with severe and complex additional support needs, contributing to a high-quality, child-centred educational environment within a busy and supportive school setting.
Applicants should have experience working with children, ideally including those with additional support needs. Backgrounds from early years, primary, secondary settings, or other relevant experiences are welcome. You will be part of a dedicated team supporting children’s learning and development.
The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, and innovative, with strong communication and organizational skills. A positive, solution-focused attitude and a commitment to professional development are essential. Training on key medical interventions will be provided, including support from NHS colleagues.

The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If shortlisted, you will need to complete the necessary verification process.
